Ayr: So, there’s this 19-year-old named Emmanuella Tanta who got caught swiping a bunch of Lancôme goodies from Boots. She was with some folks, but we don’t know who they are yet.

This all went down on November 14, 2023, and she made off with over a grand’s worth of stuff. She showed up in court after spending some time in custody, and they let her out on bail just before Christmas.

Unfortunately, the stolen items are still missing. Tanta will have to go back to court for sentencing later on.

The prosecutor shared that around 2 PM, everything was fine at the Boots counter. But when the staff member returned from lunch at 3:05 PM, they noticed a display was completely cleared out.

Apparently, there was a guy hanging out with Tanta, but no one knows who he is. Her lawyer mentioned that she’s 19 and things have changed for her since the incident.

She’s been in custody for a while and usually lives in Glasgow. While staying with her aunt, she’s been doing better. The lawyer also said she had some trouble getting back from Ireland, which led to her warrant.

Custody wasn’t a fun time for her, that’s for sure. The sheriff decided to grant her bail so they can prepare some reports, but she’s not allowed to go back to that Boots store.

She’ll be back in court in Ayr soon to find out what happens next.
