Two women have been named following a tragic stabbing incident in Milton Keynes on Christmas Day, leading to a man’s arrest.
Milton Keynes: A 49-year-old man is facing serious charges after two women were killed in a suspected stabbing on Christmas Day. It’s a heartbreaking situation.
Jazwell Brown, from Bletchley, has been charged with two counts of murder, along with attempted murder and other offenses. It’s just awful to think about.
Police arrived at the scene around 6:30 PM, where they found the two women who sadly lost their lives. A man in his late 20s and a teenage boy were also hurt and taken to the hospital.
While the victims haven’t been formally identified yet, the police confirmed they are Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24, both from Milton Keynes. Such a tragic loss.
The man and the boy are reportedly in stable condition now, which is a small relief. Brown is in custody and is set to appear in court soon.
Initially, there were concerns about a dog that was injured, but thankfully, it survived. It’s good to hear that at least.
Authorities have stated that the people involved knew each other, which adds another layer of complexity to this sad story. A cordon was set up at the scene, and forensic teams were busy gathering evidence.
It’s just a shocking event, especially during what should be a joyful time of year. Everyone is hoping for answers and justice.
