Wynyard Retail Park in Stockton-on-Tees is set to welcome Sainsbury’s and Starbucks, enhancing the shopping experience in the area.
This project, led by Northumberland Estates, is a big deal for the area. The first phase is expected to open by May 2025, which isn’t too far off!
The initial setup will include a Sainsbury’s supermarket, a drive-thru Starbucks, and a Burger King. Plus, there will be over 350 parking spots, making it super convenient for everyone.
Patrick Dunne, Sainsbury’s Property Director, is really excited about this. He mentioned that this investment will create jobs and bring quality products to the community.
But wait, there’s more! Northumberland Estates is already planning a second phase for the retail park.
This next phase will add 66,000 square feet of retail space, with options for different sizes to suit various businesses.
They’re inviting expressions of interest for these new spaces, so it looks like there’s a lot more to come for Wynyard Retail Park!
