Police in Greater Manchester are calling on parents to monitor their children after reports of disruptive behavior in local shops
Westhoughton: So, there’s been some trouble in town lately. The police have been getting a ton of calls about kids causing a ruckus in shops. It’s been happening in Westhoughton, near Bolton, and it’s got everyone a bit worried.
Apparently, these youths have been throwing stones and eggs, and just being generally disruptive. The Greater Manchester Police said they’ve had a lot of reports about this over the last few days.
Now, the police are asking parents to have a chat with their kids about being respectful. They posted on Facebook, asking, “Do you know where your child is?” It’s a good reminder for all of us.
They mentioned that the victims of this anti-social behavior often feel targeted, which is really sad. The police want parents to talk to their kids about how their actions affect others. It’s just a few kids ruining it for everyone else.
