A zookeeper tragically lost his life after filming himself with lions to impress his girlfriend, leading to a fatal encounter at a zoo.
Parkent: This is such a heartbreaking story. A zookeeper, F Iriskulov, tried to impress his girlfriend by filming himself with three lions. Sadly, it ended in tragedy.
It happened at Lion Park in Uzbekistan during his night shift. He unlocked a door to the lions’ area, thinking he could handle it. But things went horribly wrong.
In the video, you can hear him calling out to one of the lions, Simba, trying to calm them down. But the lions had escaped their enclosure and were not in the mood to play nice.
Just two minutes after he entered, the lions attacked him. His screams were caught on camera as he desperately tried to get them to be quiet.
It took four hours for his coworkers to find him. By then, it was too late. Rescuers had to tranquilize two of the lions and sadly had to shoot the third one.
The police confirmed that the lions killed him and even partially consumed his body. It’s a tragic reminder of how dangerous wild animals can be, even for those who work with them.
