MI5 is really stressing that this isn’t just a one-off thing. They mentioned that since 2020, there have been at least 11 cases where people tried to make or get their hands on these 3D-printed weapons.
It’s wild to think about how these weapons can slip through the cracks. Last year, a ghost gun was even found on someone linked to a murder in New York. It’s a real headache for security forces trying to keep everyone safe.
