Join us for a magical night at the Grand Opera House, all for a great cause!
York: This Saturday, the Grand Opera House will host “A Million Dreams,” a musical extravaganza featuring over 100 talented performers. It’s all for a fantastic cause!
The show aims to raise £10,000 for the Snappy Trust, a charity that supports families with disabled children. They’ve been making a difference in York for nearly 30 years.
Steve Coates, the producer, got inspired after donating tickets to local charities. He saw how much joy it brought to young people with learning difficulties and wanted to give back.
Expect a night filled with musical theatre classics, including performances by The Big Band Sound and Flying Ducks Youth Theatre. Some acts will even feature Makaton signing!
While raising £10,000 in one night is ambitious, the team believes it’s possible if every seat is filled. “A ticket costs about the same as four takeaway coffees, but the impact lasts a lifetime,” they shared.
YO1 Radio is on board as a media partner, and their Managing Director, Wayne Chadwick, expressed excitement about supporting such a worthy cause. They’re thrilled to promote this event and can’t wait for the night!
Tickets are still available on the Grand Opera House website, so don’t miss out on this incredible evening!
