Adrian Bayford is set to convert his historic farmhouse into a luxury holiday rental, bringing new life to the property.
Cambridgeshire: So, Adrian Bayford, the lottery winner, just got the green light to turn his 17th-century farmhouse into a holiday rental. Pretty cool, right?
He won a massive £148 million EuroMillions jackpot back in 2012, and he bought this farmhouse in 2014. It’s been sitting empty since last August, so he decided to make it a holiday spot.
The planning folks thought it was a good idea too. They said the place needed some love since it’s been vacant for a while. Now, Adrian can fix it up and create six bedrooms for up to 13 guests.
He’s planning to do a full refurb, including a new kitchen and some bathroom changes. The best part? They won’t mess with the outside of the building, just some internal tweaks.
It sounds like a fun project, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Who wouldn’t want to stay in a historic farmhouse for a getaway?
