Banbury: On Saturday, February 1, residents can meet their local councillors at the town hall from 10am to noon. It’s a great chance to share concerns that affect the community.

This monthly event lets locals engage with councillors, discuss community issues, and give feedback on town council initiatives. It’s all about keeping the conversation going!

This month, councillor Henry Elugwu from Hardwick West and councillor Shaida Hussain from Grimsbury will be there. They’re both from the Labour Party and ready to help.

They’ll share updates and advice on council responsibilities in their areas and across Banbury. It’s a good opportunity to get informed and ask questions.

Residents are encouraged to attend in person, but if you can’t make it on February 1, don’t worry! There are more chances to meet on the first Saturday of every month, except January and August.

The councillors who meet the public are chosen based on a set schedule, so you’ll see different faces each time.

Banbury Town Council takes care of many community facilities, like parks, play areas, and sports grounds. They also manage the town hall and support crime prevention efforts.

Last time, councillor Balbir Dhesi from Easington North and councillor Andrew Eaton from Park Road met with the public. It’s all about staying connected!
