A car crash in Bermondsey is being investigated as a failed break-in attempt, with no injuries reported and police still looking for suspects
The incident happened on Mandela Way around 2 PM on Saturday. Officers rushed to the scene after getting reports of the collision.
It seems the suspects were trying to smash their way in but didn’t succeed. They took off before anyone could catch them.
A picture from the scene shows a black car that took quite a beating after hitting the side of a building.
The London Fire Brigade even sent out two fire engines and rescue units, just in case. Thankfully, no one got hurt, and there haven’t been any arrests yet.
Police are still digging into what happened. A spokesperson mentioned that they received a call about the crash and believe it was all part of a break-in plan.
So far, no injuries have been reported, and the suspects are still on the loose. The investigation continues, and everyone is hoping for some answers soon.
