Blackheath’s second-half surge led to a decisive 51-26 win over Birmingham Moseley, showcasing their attacking prowess and solid defense.
They started strong, with Billy Harding scoring first. But Moseley fought back, and at one point, they were leading 21-13. It was a bit tense, but Blackheath didn’t let that get to them.
After halftime, they came out firing. Jake Hennessey and Tom Ffitch were on fire, setting up some fantastic tries. In just 20 minutes, they scored four times!
Their defense also stepped up, with some big tackles from Josh Smart and Ollie Kitto. Even when Moseley managed to score a consolation try, Blackheath had already sealed the deal.
Coach James Shanahan was pleased, especially with the way they improved their defense. They’ve got a tough match coming up against Darlington Mowden Park next, so they’ll need to keep this momentum going!
