Dover: A 47-year-old woman is in hot water after a knife attack in the town. She was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, thanks to some quick-thinking folks nearby.

The incident happened on Biggin Street around 10:10 PM on a Friday night. A woman in her 50s was just walking along when the suspect came at her with a big kitchen knife.

Luckily, some security staff from a nearby pub jumped in and managed to disarm the attacker. They held her down until the police arrived, which was pretty heroic if you ask me.

Detective Chief Inspector Bev Morrison called it a “horrific incident” but noted that the victim didn’t suffer any serious injuries. That’s a relief!

DCI Morrison praised the brave bystanders who stepped in without a second thought for their own safety. It’s amazing what people will do to help others in danger.

The victim was treated at the hospital but was later released. Meanwhile, the suspect is still in custody, and police are looking into the whole situation.

It’s good to see the police acted quickly to get the woman into custody. It’s a scary world out there, but it’s nice to know that some people are willing to step up when it counts.
