Bridge Inn Chirk: Reopening Next Month

The Bridge Inn in Chirk closed suddenly in September. It briefly reopened, then shut down again soon after. Good news, though! The pub will reopen on March 7. A live singer will perform that opening weekend.

Matthew Rose Catering will now run The Bridge Inn. Ben Healey owns Matthew Rose Catering. Ben himself will be the pub’s new licensee. Ben operates a takeaway in Ellesmere.

He’s growing his business with the Bridge Inn, and he seems really happy about this new project. He wants to offer more to people in Shropshire and North Wales. This expands his Matthew Rose Catering company.

The reopening includes a new takeaway service called Healeys Takeaway-Chirk. They will operate it from The Bridge pub. They’ll also have a regular pub menu. Local food and good prices are their goal.

The pub needs more team members right now. They value family and personal needs of all employees. They need drivers for deliveries, plus a part-time chef and a part-time bartender.
