Bierton: Eight residents have objected to a new housing plan. The development is for land south of Aylesbury Road.

People worry about increased traffic and strain on local services. They mention schools and GP surgeries may struggle to cope.

Verna Shurey from Aylesbury Road expressed her concerns. She said Bierton already has enough houses.

She added that more homes would mean more cars on the busy A418 road. This could worsen air pollution in the area.

Shehla Parvez from Grendon Way also shared her thoughts. She noted the local school has limited spots available.

She fears new residents would overwhelm the school, leaving many kids without quality education.

The planning statement claims the site can support 47 new homes and public open space. The Buckinghamshire Council will decide on the proposal soon.
