The beloved Buddy Holly show will return to Blackpool Grand Theatre from February 3 to 7, 2026, celebrating the music legend’s legacy.
This show is loved by many. It tells Buddy Holly’s story, from his early days to his rise to fame.
Expect to hear over 20 of his biggest hits. Songs like That’ll Be The Day, Oh Boy, and Everyday will be featured.
You’ll also enjoy classics from the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens. Songs like Chantilly Lace and La Bamba will be included too.
Christopher Weeks will play Buddy Holly. Alan Janes, the writer, shared how amazing it is that the show is still going strong after 35 years.
Since its London debut in 1989, over 22 million people have seen the show. It’s one of the longest-running shows in London theatre history.
People are encouraged to book tickets early to avoid missing out.
Fun fact: The show has used over 3,300 pairs of trousers due to Buddy’s famous knee slides!
Tickets start at £15 and go on sale today, February 3, 2025.
The show will have evening performances at 7:30 PM and matinees on Thursday and Saturday at 2 PM and 2:30 PM, respectively.
