The Chepstow School PTA has successfully raised more than £8,000 to enhance student experiences and support various school initiatives.
They’ve raised over £8,000, which is fantastic! This money has gone towards new gear for the Girls’ Cyber Club and Photography Club, plus sports equipment for PE.
They didn’t stop there. The library got new books and shelves, the Design Technology department received sewing machines and kitchen tools, and the Additional Learning Needs department got some much-needed supplies.
They even upgraded the school’s exam desks and dining tables. How cool is that?
The PTA has been busy hosting fun events like discos, quiz nights, bingo nights, and Christmas fairs for students and their families. They also sold snacks at the annual school play and the Rotary fireworks show.
It’s pretty rare to see a PTA in a secondary school, so they’re really proud of what they’ve accomplished. They’re also encouraging everyone to join a lottery and check out “easy fundraising,” where big retailers chip in for charities. It’s a great way to keep the good work going!
