Lisburn: Chick-fil-A has opened its first restaurant in Northern Ireland. This is a big deal for the popular US fried chicken chain.

The new spot is at Applegreen’s Lisburn South Services on the M1. It’s the first Chick-fil-A outside North America, which is exciting for fans.

Customers can enjoy favorites like the original chicken sandwich, salads, lemonade, and hand-breaded nuggets. It’s a tasty menu!

This is just the first of two locations. The second will open at Applegreen’s Templepatrick service station in March.

Caroline Cherington, from Applegreen, shared her excitement about bringing Chick-fil-A to Northern Ireland. She believes customers will love the quality food.

They aim to provide great service and a wonderful experience for travelers. Plus, this partnership will create 70 new jobs in the area.

Chick-fil-A is a major player in North America, with over 3,000 restaurants. They are known for their high sales volume.

The partnership with Applegreen has worked well in the US, where they have 14 outlets at service stations.

Chick-fil-A will remain closed on Sundays, following their policy to give employees a day off.

Looking ahead, Belfast is one of four UK cities where Chick-fil-A plans to open more restaurants in the next two years.

They aim to launch five new locations across Belfast, Leeds, Liverpool, and London as part of their UK expansion.
