The club shared a video on Facebook, marking the end of an era. It showed happy customers dancing to “My Way.” A spokesperson called the last week an emotional rollercoaster.
They thanked everyone for their support and promised a memorable final weekend. Special guest DJs from the past joined the celebration. DJ Clifty, a familiar face, reflected on his long history in Chippenham’s club scene.
The decision to close came after a decline in the night-time economy and changing customer habits post-pandemic. The club had been a staple of nightlife for 20 years. Rising costs and fewer late-night visitors made it tough to keep going.
