Connah’s Quay: Starting January 27, Wales & West Utilities will be working on the gas network along High Street. This project is set to last until February 7.

During this time, expect three-way traffic lights at the junction with Deans Place. It might get a bit tricky to navigate, so plan accordingly.

Adam Smith, the programme controller, mentioned that this work is part of a bigger effort to upgrade the local gas network. It’s all about keeping the gas flowing safely for homes and businesses.

He also noted that the upgrades will help prepare the network for greener gas in the future. So, while it’s a hassle now, it’s for a good cause!

Smith added that they’re working closely with Flintshire County Council to ensure everyone’s safety during the process. They really appreciate your patience.
