A civil lawsuit claims Conor McGregor sexually assaulted a woman in a Miami bathroom after an NBA game in June 2023
Miami: So, there’s this serious situation involving Conor McGregor. He’s facing a civil lawsuit for allegedly assaulting a woman in a bathroom back in June 2023.
The lawsuit was filed recently, and it claims that the incident happened at the Kasaya Center after a Miami Heat game against the Denver Nuggets.
The woman, who’s 49 and works on Wall Street, had previously reported a criminal sexual assault, but those charges didn’t go anywhere.
According to the Florida State Attorney’s Office, the police dropped the criminal case. McGregor’s attorney, Barbara Llanes, spoke to ESPN about it.
She said that after a thorough investigation, the State’s Attorney found no case to pursue. Llanes also mentioned that the plaintiff has come up with a new story almost two years later.
McGregor has denied all the allegations, and his team is confident that this lawsuit will also be dismissed.
