Coveris, which is known for its sustainable packaging, is based on Cromwell Road. They’re working with the college to highlight various career options that young people might not even think about.
The videos are part of the Careers Spotlight series. They feature real professionals sharing their job experiences and how they got to where they are. It’s a great way to get young people thinking about careers they might not have considered before.
This project is part of a bigger initiative funded by the Greater Cambridge Partnership. It aims to improve career advice and guidance for young people in the area.

Michaela Van-Noordt, who heads HR at Coveris, expressed excitement about the partnership. She mentioned that packaging is often seen as just manufacturing, but there’s so much more to it.

The videos will be available on the college’s website, and Form the Future will help share them with schools. They’re also planning career fairs in March, where young people can meet employers and explore job opportunities.
