The investigation into Alex Batty’s disappearance has officially ended, with no criminal charges to be filed, bringing closure to his family.
Oldham: So, the big news is that the police have wrapped up their investigation into Alex Batty’s disappearance. It’s been a long road since he went missing back in 2017.
They’ve been looking into everything for over a year now, but it turns out there just isn’t enough evidence to charge anyone. Detective Superintendent Matt Walker mentioned that they really wanted to make sure everything was looked at properly.
Alex was found safe in Toulouse, France, and now he’s back in Greater Manchester, living his life with family and friends. It’s a relief for everyone involved, especially for Alex and his grandmother, Susan. They’ve been through a lot, and now they can finally have some peace.
