DDC has launched new products aimed at enhancing safety in hospitals and care homes, focusing on infection prevention and control.
Bournemouth: DDC has just rolled out some cool new tech to help keep patients and staff safe from nasty germs. Their latest products are designed to tackle viruses and bacteria head-on.
They’ve introduced the Pulpmatic Flex, UVMATIC MultiTower, and UVMATIC AirSafe Steriliser. Each one brings something unique to the table.
The Pulpmatic Flex is a smart macerator that saves energy and offers different cycle options to help cut down on costs. It’s pretty nifty!
Then there’s the UVMATIC MultiTower, which uses UVC lights to zap away germs in rooms. And the UVMATIC AirSafe Steriliser? It’s an air purifier that not only cleans the air but also uses UVC light to eliminate harmful microbes.
Zoe Allen, DDC’s marketing and HR director, shared that these products are big steps forward in infection prevention. They give hospitals and care homes powerful tools to fight infections.
The Pulpmatic Flex even has four new cycle modes, with the Lite mode being super quick at just 70 seconds and using minimal water.
As for the UVMATIC MultiTower, it boasts impressive stats, claiming to be 99.99% effective against viruses and 99.999% against bacteria. That’s some serious protection!
The AirSafe Steriliser works by pulling air in and exposing it to purifying UVC light. It also uses a special coating to create strong oxidising agents that destroy microbes.
After that, the air goes through a carbon filter to get rid of odors and then a HEPA filter that catches tiny particles, including bacteria and viruses.
DDC, which used to be called DDC Dolphin, is known for its innovative solutions in infection control and refurbishing sluice rooms in healthcare settings.
