Andy Baker from Didcot has raised over £30,000 for charity, supporting those affected by brain injuries through his fundraising efforts
Didcot: Andy Baker, 36, has been a regular at Oxford Head Injury Services since he was 23. He was born with a brain injury and faced another head injury at eight.
That led to more treatment and surgery when he was 12. But Andy doesn’t let that hold him back. He’s all about giving back to the places that have helped him.
In 2021, he started Play2Give, a charity that raises money for good causes, and even got an MBE for his efforts. His recent 007-themed gala ball at Milton Hill House was a hit, raising over £30,000.
The money goes directly to Oxford Head Injury Services, which helps people with brain injuries get the support and rehab they need.
