A special Doctor Who auction runs from February 11 to 25, benefiting BBC Children in Need with unique memorabilia.
Blackburn: Exciting news for Doctor Who fans! An auction is coming up soon. It starts on February 11 and runs until February 25. This event will help raise money for BBC Children in Need.
The auction is in partnership with Propstore, a well-known memorabilia auctioneer. Fans from all over the world can join in and bid on unique items.
There will be over 150 lots available. Items worn by John Simm and Matt Smith will be featured. Matt Smith is a big Blackburn Rovers fan.
One of the highlights is Matt Smith’s costume from ‘Closing Time’. John Simm’s jacket as The Master is also up for grabs.
All items will start with a minimum bid of £100. This gives fans a chance to own exclusive Doctor Who memorabilia.
Fans can bid on costumes and props from the series, covering years from 2005 to 2022.
Some notable items include David Tennant’s tuxedo, Peter Capaldi’s costume from ‘Mummy on the Orient Express’, and Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor outfit.
Other exciting items include a screen-matched TARDIS, a Traitor Dalek, a Cyberman head, a Weeping Angel statue, and even Rose Tyler’s top.
This auction is set to be the largest Doctor Who auction ever. Proceeds will support BBC Children in Need, which helps children across the UK.
John Simm, who played The Master, grew up in East Lancashire. Registration for the auction opens on January 28 on the Propstore website.
By registering, fans can enter a competition to win a bow tie from Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor.
