Dogs Trust Leeds is encouraging visits to their centre to help find homes for dogs in need
Leeds: Dogs Trust Leeds started 2025 on a high note. They successfully rehomed Jethro, a foxhound. He waited over a thousand days for his forever home.
Now, they want to find homes for more dogs. Kelly Walker, the manager, shared their excitement. Last year, many dogs found loving homes, but they still have work to do.
Kelly invites everyone to visit the rehoming centre. She wants people to meet the dogs and learn about fostering. They also offer support for dog owners and the community.
She encourages visits, saying, “You can look around, ask questions, and meet our dogs.”
Currently, Dogs Trust Leeds cares for 79 dogs looking for homes. There’s a great variety of dogs available, making it a perfect time to visit.
The centre is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12 PM to 4 PM. For more information, check out their website.
