East Dunbartonshire: The BetterPoints app helps people earn points for being active. You can earn points by walking, cycling, running, or using public transport.

You can spend these points at local shops or donate them to charity. Over 600 people have joined the BetterPoints challenge in East Dunbartonshire.

For more details, check out www.edlc.co.uk/sport-leisure. Plus, there’s a fun giveaway! Every Saturday in February, you can win a month-long leisure membership.

This membership works at the Allander Leisure Centre, Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre, or the Leisuredrome in Bishopbriggs. You can also win a hot drink daily at any of these centres.

To enter the prize draws, you need to be active for at least 22 minutes each day. If you stay active for seven days, you’ll have seven chances to win a drink and a membership.

Councillor Jim Gibbons from EDLC Trust said they’re excited to partner with BetterPoints. They want to help residents improve their fitness and wellbeing while earning rewards.
