Perth: Edinburgh Woollen Mill is reopening a branch in the city. The store will be at the old Vision PK building on High Street.

Perth and Kinross Council approved the sign for the new location. Previously, EWM had shops on St John Street and Crieff Road, but they closed during the Covid lockdowns.

EWM offers clothing and accessories for both men and women. The company bought EWM, Bonmarche, and Peacocks out of administration in 2021 and is now reopening stores.

Councillor Peter Barrett mentioned that the new store will boost Perth’s appeal. He hopes it will thrive and contribute to the city center’s vibrancy.

Blairgowrie and Pitlochry still have open EWM stores. Additionally, Cotton Traders opened a new shop on High Street in September 2024.

The Courier has reached out to EWM for further comments.
