The Spin won an award; it was named ‘best Irish feature film’ at a comedy film festival in Dublin.

Jake and Isi made the film and own an independent film company. Both are from Enfield and friends; they met at Winchmore School long ago. They support Enfield Town FC a lot too.

The Spin is their first film and financial support came from fellow fans. It premiered last autumn at a film fest, takes place in Ireland, and is very heartwarming.

The story tells of friendship and growth as it features a road trip with friends. They meet odd people, including a nun and a stripper, as their friendship faces some challenges.

Isi loves working with Jake on The Spin, where friendship is central to the movie. They relate to the characters well, and Isi thinks Jake is the sensible one.

They are happy about the acclaim, which seems unreal after school days. The cast includes Tara Lynne O’Neill and others; Kimberly Wyatt is also in it.

Michael Head directed the film and Colin Broderick wrote the screenplay. Isi and Jake helped produce, which came from Mark McCausland’s story, who also made music for the film.

The Spin is gaining popularity fast and will be shown at many festivals. These festivals are in places such as Toronto and Rome.

Michael said the film celebrates Ireland as it shows the people and the fun. He hopes it shares happiness well; authentic friendship can do just that.
