Holt: Eric’s Fish and Chip Shop closed its doors on Thursday, marking the start of an exciting transformation. The beloved spot is set to become Eric’s Pizza, with plans to reopen in February.
Owner Eric Snaith has been dreaming of this change for a while. He believes Holt needs a cozy Italian restaurant that specializes in delicious pizza. It’s all about bringing something new to the town.
Eric mentioned that they wanted to refresh the fish and chip shop and explore more opportunities with pizza. This new venture will fill a gap in the local market.
The revamped restaurant will feature an open kitchen and traditional pizza ovens, allowing diners to see the magic happen right before their eyes. Eric is thrilled about this fresh start after nearly six years in the fish and chip business.
They’ll be serving up hand-stretched Neapolitan pizza, just like they do in their other locations in Thornham and Norwich. Plus, the menu will include a variety of Italian classics, from pasta dishes to antipasti.
While the renovations won’t be too extensive, expect a fresh look with updated branding and decor both inside and out. Eric’s Pizza is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, and there will be celebrations across all three locations.
