A tragic crash in Essex left four dead after a car hit a shop early Saturday
Essex: A serious crash happened early Saturday morning. Four people died when a car drove the wrong way and crashed into Dusty’s second-hand shop. The accident occurred around 4:40 AM.
Police closed Magdalen Street for the day. They took the car away for investigation. A collision investigation unit will examine it thoroughly.
Officers were on the scene all day. They advised nearby residents not to look outside due to the crash’s severity. The identities of those involved have not been released yet.
Jodie Graves, a local resident, described the loud noise. She thought she was dreaming until she saw her husband calling the police. When officers knocked at 5 AM, they told her to keep the blinds down.
She found the situation surreal. Jodie praised the emergency services for their professionalism. They arrived quickly and worked tirelessly throughout the day.
Another resident, Alan Bolster, saw police take the car away. They placed it in a wooden box before towing it. He mentioned they had to close their blinds to avoid seeing anything disturbing.
Alan noted that the car was completely wrecked. He couldn’t even tell what type of car it was. It was truly unrecognizable.
