Bridgwater: From February 17 to 22, the town is buzzing with free events that promise to spark creativity and celebrate local culture. Organized by the Bridgwater Cultural Partnership and the Town Council, there’s something for everyone.

One highlight is Glo-Play at The Engine Room, running from February 17 to 19. Families can dive into neon-themed fun, making glow-in-the-dark designs while learning about ocean plastic.

Bridgwater Library is also in on the action, hosting a treasure hunt, a quirky photo booth, and board games from February 17 to 21. Don’t miss Mr. Bert’s Amazing Circus Show on February 20, with two sessions at 11am and noon.

On the same day, Bridgwater Town Hall will have Circus Workshops where you can learn juggling and aerial tricks. These free sessions run from 10:30am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

Over at the Brick and Tile Museum, there’s a ‘Play Day’ on February 20, where you can craft your own Monopoly piece from air-dried clay. Sounds fun, right?

From February 18 to 22, Eco Sculpture Workshops at Angel Place will let you create art from recycled materials. Plus, Bridgy Gallery will host Playful Printing workshops, perfect for families wanting to make their own prints.

If you have kids aged 8 to 14, the Somerset Youth Theatre is offering a ‘Play-in-a-Day’ workshop on February 18. It’s a full day of fun, including lunch and snacks, and no experience is needed.
