A total of 44 criminals from Merseyside were sentenced in December, including a dad and daughter duo and a former Everton star
Liverpool: This month, a bunch of criminals from Merseyside got their comeuppance. Among them were a dad and his daughter, a former Everton player, and a guy known as ‘the Big Fella’.
One of the more notorious cases involved Paul Green, a 59-year-old ringleader who got slapped with a whopping 32-year sentence for running a massive drug operation. He was part of a gang that smuggled billions of pounds worth of drugs into the UK.
Then there’s Joseph Warren, who went on a rampage at a garage, attacking staff with a metal pole. He ended up with an 18-month sentence, just before his daughter’s birthday. Talk about bad timing!
And let’s not forget Ahnad Karamian, who threw a fit in his asylum housing, trashing the place because he was “always hungry.” He got 10 months for his tantrum.
William Redmond, a fraudster, was caught stealing £20,000 from vulnerable victims while pretending to collect for charity. He’s now facing 54 months behind bars.
Edward Marshman, a taxi driver, turned to drug dealing to pay off his debts. He was sentenced to nearly five years for his troubles.
Rhys Allen, a prison escapee, was caught after a two-week manhunt. He got an extra 28 days for his escape antics.
Shaun Harold, a burglar, was caught with blood on his hands after breaking into an Asda. He’s now looking at 30 months in prison.
Brian Sheridan, a paedophile, was sentenced to 16 years for abusing a young girl. He showed no remorse, which is just chilling.
Paul Wilson, a serial rapist, received 21 years for his horrific crimes against three women. He didn’t even flinch when the sentence was handed down.
And then there’s Lyndsey Goulding, a drug-dealing grandmother who attacked her ex with a table. She got 32 months for that little outburst.
Ryan Woolsey, who sexually assaulted a girl and shared indecent images, was sentenced to over 13 years. That’s a serious wake-up call.
Kieran Hannon, who smuggled drugs while pretending to be a community volunteer, got over eight years for his shady dealings.
It’s a mixed bag of crime, but one thing’s for sure: Merseyside is sending a clear message that crime doesn’t pay!
