Glasgow: First Bus is making some big changes to its routes. They want to improve punctuality and local connections in Dumbarton. These changes start on Sunday, March 2.

New routes will help serve Balloch and Helensburgh better. This means more reliable travel options for everyone.

From March 2, the First service 1/A will run more often between Dumbarton town center and Glasgow. This is great news for commuters!

New local routes 204 and 205 will replace parts of the current service 1/A. This will help ensure better connections for passengers.

Service 206 will now extend from Westcliff to Helensburgh, taking over from the old Service 1B. This change will make travel easier.

If you travel from Glasgow to Balloch or Helensburgh, you’ll need to switch buses in Dumbarton. You’ll take the new 204/205 or 206 to reach your destination.

Service 1E will still run between Balloch and Glasgow. It will now go directly from Clydebank to Yoker via Glasgow Road.

Service M11 will be renamed to service 11. It will cover the route from Mountblow to Gartnavel Hospital, replacing Service 1D.

Chris Coleman, head of network for First Bus in Glasgow, said they are working hard to meet customer needs. These changes will create a more reliable service for everyone in Dumbarton, Balloch, and Helensburgh.

They are also updating customer information, including bus stops, with the new timetable. Travelers are encouraged to use the app for the latest updates.
