Colourbox@Redwoods has been recognized for excellence in education, behavior, and personal development, making it a standout choice for parents.
Opened in July 2022, this place is Colourbox Montessori’s first full-time forest school. Ofsted’s inspection on December 4 praised the school for its amazing outdoor environment. Kids arrive excited, ready to explore and learn.
The school follows the Montessori approach, which means hands-on, self-paced learning. It’s all about respecting each child as an individual. Susie Norman, the director, is super proud of her team for creating such a fantastic space for kids to play and learn.
The Ofsted report highlighted how welcoming the staff are and how they nurture a real sense of belonging among the kids. They’ve designed the area so children can choose where to play, and the curriculum is challenging yet engaging.
At the time of the inspection, there were 30 kids aged two to four. It sounds like a wonderful place for children to grow and develop a love for nature!
