Queenborough: A quirky former shop is now on the market for over £200,000. This unique property is located on Queenborough High Street and is being auctioned by Clive Emson.

The building is currently empty and needs a complete makeover, but it has tons of potential for different renovations, depending on planning approval.

It sits on a good-sized plot and even has two moorings. The ground floor features an open-plan area, a spacious hallway, and a room at the back with a utility room and toilet.

Upstairs, you’ll find a living/dining room with a balcony, a kitchen, three bedrooms, and a bathroom. The second floor has a generous loft and some storage space.

There are also two old boats at the moorings, but no one knows who owns them. Clive Emson describes the property as quirky and unusual, right across from Queenborough Creek and near the boat yard.

The mixed-use building has a guide price of £220,000 and is Lot 130 in the auction. If you’re interested, you might want to check it out.

Also in the auction is an 18th-century watermill in Edenbridge, which has been re-listed. This Grade II-listed site was built in the mid-1700s and used to mill flour until 1919.

It was previously on the market for around £390,000 and is now used as office space but has permission to be converted into residential.

Other interesting lots include a Victorian building with a sports hall in Sittingbourne and Hardy House, which is up for £175,000 and offers various commercial or residential options.

The Clive Emson February auction ends on Thursday, February 16, so don’t miss out!
