Six teams competed in a quiz. The event helped raise money. They plan to fix up a historic building.

Thirty-three people played. This was the second FACT quiz, and it happened on January 18th at Forres Town Hall. Graham Watson hosted the quiz, raising £200 to help the building’s project.

Tina Coffey and Audrey Boyd worked the bar in the lesser hall. Lorna Creswell sold raffle tickets, which also took place there.

Nick Clark manages FACT operations. Teams had up to six players, answering questions on topics including music, geography, sport, and general knowledge.

The team with the highest score won £50. Second place got £25, while the last place team received mugs filled with chocolate.

Dave’s Squares won the quiz. Lainey Stokes, happy to win, said her team recovered from last place, and she enjoyed the friendly competition.

Lainey said she enjoyed the night and appreciated the question variety. Nick described it as a fun, social event, and hopes to have another quiz soon, possibly in April or May.
