Join the fun at Dobbies Garden Centre with free workshops for all ages this February, focusing on growing tomatoes and more
Stockton: Dobbies Garden Centre is kicking off February with some awesome free workshops. Everyone, no matter their age or skill level, is invited to join in on the fun.
The Grow How workshops are set for Saturday, February 1, and Wednesday, February 5, at 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM. They’ll dive into the world of tomatoes, sharing tips on how to grow and care for these tasty fruits.
Participants will even get to taste different tomato varieties and learn about the most popular ones grown in the UK. Sounds delicious, right?
For the little ones, Dobbies has a Little Seedlings Club for kids aged four to ten on Sunday, February 2. It’s a fun way for kids to learn about tomatoes through games and activities.
Plus, there’s a Little Seedlings Holiday Club during half term, focusing on flowers. It’s a great chance for kids to get hands-on experience in gardening.
Nigel Lawton, Dobbies’ plant buyer, mentioned how rewarding it is to enjoy homegrown fruits and veggies. These workshops aim to make gardening accessible and fun for everyone.
So, if you’re interested in getting your hands dirty and learning something new, check out the Dobbies website for more info on these free workshops!
