FreightForce has acquired haulage competitor MA and HV Medler, enhancing its fleet and service capabilities in the logistics sector.
Norwich: FreightForce, based in the Guardian Road Industrial Estate, has just acquired MA and HV Medler, a haulage company located in Marsham. This move is pretty exciting for them!
With this acquisition, Medler is now part of the FreightForce Distribution family. They’ve got a fleet of over 100 vehicles now, which is quite impressive.
Nick Jolley, the managing director, shared his enthusiasm about bringing Medler into the fold. He mentioned that Medler has been around since 1978 and has a stellar reputation for quality service and great people.
All of Medler’s employees and their facilities will stay intact, so it’s business as usual, just with some added capabilities. Sounds like a win-win!
Martin Halliday, the commercial director, emphasized their commitment to the Norfolk community, which has been key to Medler’s success. They’re all about building a sustainable future for everyone involved.
Sarah Alston, Medler’s director, will join the FreightForce board, which is a nice touch. She expressed pride in joining the team and excitement about continuing to support their customers and staff.
FreightForce has been a staple in Norwich since 1998 and even opened a second site in Great Yarmouth a few years back. They provide storage, distribution, and logistics services across the UK and Europe.
Medler mainly focuses on full load transportation and bulk haulage, so this acquisition really broadens FreightForce’s service offerings.
