A heartfelt convoy is set to celebrate David Phillips’ life, inviting all to join in this special tribute to a passionate motorbike and Formula One fan
Newnham Bridge: David Phillips, a 36-year-old from Newnham Bridge, passed away last month. His family is organizing a special vehicle convoy to honor him.
David had a heart condition that kept him from riding motorbikes, but he was a huge fan of them and loved Formula One.
His dad, Mark, shared that it would mean a lot to the family if as many people as possible joined the convoy. They want to celebrate David’s passion for engines and the thrill of the ride.
David was born in Worcester and had a heart condition that prevented him from working. Despite that, he was a big fan of Formula One and even passed his driving test at 17.
He moved to Newnham with his wife Kym nine years ago. Mark mentioned that some of David’s brothers, who are into farming, will bring tractors to the convoy.
It would be a wonderful sight for David’s son, Noah, to see how much people cared about his dad. The funeral ride will start on Monday, January 27, at The Talbot Inn in Newnham at 10:30 am.
After that, the procession will head to Wyre Forest Crematorium. The family is inviting anyone who wants to join in this heartfelt tribute.
David was a beloved son, brother, and husband, leaving behind his wife Kym and son Noah, along with five brothers who will miss him dearly.
