Gareth Gates is excited to perform in Glasgow and reminisces about his favorite nightclub, The Garage, where he has great memories from his youth
Glasgow: Gareth Gates is gearing up for his show at the Pavilion Theatre on February 13. He’s really looking forward to performing for the local crowd.
After the show, he hinted that the fun might continue at The Garage nightclub on Sauchiehall Street. He has some great memories from his younger days there.
Gareth mentioned how much he enjoys performing in Glasgow. He’s played at various venues like the Hydro and the SECC, but he loves the energy of the crowds up north.
He shared that he has friends in the area and loves the vibe of the city. It’s always nice to see how much the audience enjoys his music.
He reminisced about his younger days when his best friend would take him to The Garage. He even knows the owner, Donald MacLeod, from back in the day.
Gareth also likes Merchant Square for its nice restaurants and a private members club he used to frequent. He’s definitely got a soft spot for Glasgow.
When asked about hitting The Garage after his show, he said, “Never say never.” He’s always up for a good night out.
He’s also got a friend who owns a bar called Kilts and Kocktails, so he might end up there too. Either way, he’s excited for the night.
His show promises to take fans on a journey through iconic love songs from movies. From classics like Unchained Melody to hits from Dirty Dancing, it’s going to be a heartfelt experience.
Gareth explained that he’s producing a new show featuring these love songs, inspired by his own hit, Unchained Melody, from the movie Ghost.
He’s thrilled to bring this show to Glasgow, especially with Valentine’s Day around the corner. It’s going to be a special night for everyone!
