Bicester: Suv-Laki, a Greek takeaway, recently got a food hygiene rating of just one. This happened after an inspection on December 10, 2024. They deliver through UberEats, Just Eat, and Deliveroo.

The Food Standards Agency pointed out that major improvements are needed for food safety management. They also mentioned that the hygienic handling of food needs work.

However, the cleanliness of the facilities is generally okay. Suv-Laki opened in November 2024 and has other locations in places like Cheltenham and Stratford Upon Avon.

One of the partners, Nick, said they’re on it. He explained that the low score was mainly due to health and safety issues, especially with the seating area being boarded up.

Interestingly, they share a kitchen with The Finest Catch Fish Bar, which has a much better rating of four. Nick assured that they’re fixing everything by Monday, January 20.

He’s optimistic about getting a better rating soon. “We’re checking everything and addressing the situation,” he said. “If we don’t fix it, the kitchen won’t be open.”
