The Hampshire West Trefoil Guild enjoyed festive gatherings and community events, celebrating achievements and welcoming new members.
Eling: The Trefoil Guild had a great time with Christmas parties and lunches. Members celebrated by receiving their Motivate Badge during a festive lunch.
The Motivate challenge encouraged members to participate and earn badges. Everyone had fun, and they’re excited for the next challenge in 2025.
Guilds joined community events, attending Christmas markets and fairs. They even knitted postbox toppers to spread some holiday cheer.
The Trefoil Scrabble Club raised £100 at their Christmas lunch. They donated the money to Foxies Future, a charity that bought Foxlease from Girlguiding.
Sing into Christmas was a popular event this year. It was bittersweet as it marked the last official event for the county president, Sylvia Warne.
Sylvia has been county president for over 21 years. Her wisdom and support will be missed by everyone. She received a Parker pen, a garden voucher, and a bouquet of red and yellow roses.
Anyone can join the Trefoil Guild, even if they haven’t been in Guiding. Membership starts at 18 years old, and it helps to be interested in the movement.
There are many interest groups like travel, walking, and Scrabble. If you can’t attend local meetings, there’s a ‘Lones’ section that meets once or twice a year.
