An elderly man in Hartlepool faced a terrifying home invasion by two men demanding cash
Hartlepool: So, there was this scary incident on Saturday night. An elderly man was just at home when two guys knocked on his door around 8:15 p.m. They didn’t just stop there; they barged right in!
These intruders were demanding money, and one of them had a hammer. Can you believe that? It’s just awful. They managed to grab about £40 in cash and then took off.
Luckily, the elderly man wasn’t hurt, which is a relief. But still, it must have been terrifying for him. The police are really hoping someone saw something and can help catch these guys.
They described the first guy as white, slim, about 5ft 10in, and around 20 years old. He was wearing a green jacket and denim jeans. The second guy was taller, around 6ft, and also slim, dressed in a black jacket and jeans.
