Bournemouth: Malcolm Jeffries found about 50 bin bags dumped behind St Andrew’s church. He discovered the mess around 3 PM on January 29. It shocked him to see such a large amount of rubbish.

Malcolm described the situation as unbelievable and the worst he’s ever seen. The area was littered with insulation and heaps of bin bags.

Kinson’s ward councillor, Duane Farr, is also upset about the fly tipping. He’s been working with Dorset police and the church team to tackle this issue.

Councillor Farr mentioned that they are trying to prevent further incidents. He and others supported a funding bid for CCTV to monitor the area behind the church.

Malcolm suspects a business is responsible for the mess due to the amount of waste. He often visits the area while volunteering at a food bank and finds it upsetting.

He expressed his annoyance about the rubbish, saying they go there frequently. He’s unsure when the rubbish was dumped.

Cllr Duane Farr added that it’s heartbreaking to see such a mess, especially near Millhams Nature Reserve.

This incident follows another case of fly tipping in the New Forest, where insulation and waste were dumped next to the A35. The New Forest District Council is asking for information about that case.
