Ipswich: A group of primary school kids from Hillside Primary School had a blast as they became mascots for Ipswich Town’s match against Bristol Rovers. How cool is that?

Isabela, Riley, Brileigh, and Bryant were the lucky ones picked to represent their school. They got to walk out with the team and cheer them on during the game on January 12. The kids were chosen randomly from a hat during assembly, which made it even more exciting!

Bryant was thrilled to meet his favorite player, Sam Morsy. He said it was a fantastic experience. Isabela couldn’t believe her luck either, calling it amazing and even predicted the 3-0 win correctly!

After the match, the school held assemblies where the kids shared their stories and memories from the day. Lucy Wass, the headteacher, expressed how proud they were to be part of such a special event.

She thanked Ipswich Town for the opportunity, saying it inspired the kids and created memories they’ll cherish forever. What a day for those young fans!
