An Inverness man pulled a knife during a row, leading to a court appearance and a warning about future behavior
Aiden, understandably freaked out, ran inside his house. The police were called, and they found the knife just lying there by the garden gate. McCafferty didn’t stick around and took off.
When they caught up with him later, he was already in a bit of trouble. He was on remand at HMP Inverness and had missed a couple of court dates before this incident. His lawyer, Willie Young, mentioned that McCafferty had been living in a monitored house and had support from various agencies.
The sheriff, Gary Aitken, decided to release him on bail but made it clear that he better show up for his next court date. He warned McCafferty that if he didn’t, he’d be right back in custody. Sounds like a wake-up call for him!
