Paul West, who’s in charge of highways and flooding for Suffolk County Council, mentioned that the new bollards are already with the contractor. They’re expected to be up by the end of the month, which is a relief for many residents.
People have been dealing with a lot of trouble lately, with cars driving onto the waterfront and causing a ruckus. It’s been a real headache, especially with those late-night “honk-a-thons” that have been disturbing everyone’s peace.
