Jade Thirlwall shared her experience of being ghosted by Harry Styles during a podcast, reflecting on their past and her feelings about Jesy Nelson’s exit from Little Mix.
South Shields: So, Jade Thirlwall recently opened up on The Louis Theroux Podcast about her past with Harry Styles. She mentioned how they went on a date when they were just kids, around 16. It was all pretty innocent back then.
But then, when One Direction hit the big time, Harry stopped messaging her. Jade joked that it felt like he was gone for good. She said, “I thought ‘that’s it now, he’s made it’.” It’s funny how life works out, right?
Later, when they crossed paths again, Harry apologized for ghosting her. Jade laughed it off, saying it didn’t really matter since they were so young. She described him as always being lovely, which is nice to hear.
On the podcast, she also talked about how she “grieved” Jesy Nelson leaving Little Mix. The group had been through so much together, and losing a member was tough. Jade shared that it felt like a fever dream during that time.
She explained how Jesy faced a lot of trolling and pressure, which took a toll on her. Jade emphasized that they all tried their best to support her, but it was a challenging situation for everyone involved.
Jade admitted she’s still processing Jesy’s departure. It was a stressful time, especially since they were promoting new music when it happened. She mentioned they didn’t get a chance to sit down and talk it out, which made it even harder.
She recalled a moment driving with her boyfriend, Jordan, when she just broke down crying. It was a release of all the emotions she had bottled up. It’s clear that the bond they shared meant a lot to her, and losing that was really tough.
