Kulera Care has been rated ‘Good’ by the CQC, highlighting its effective management and quality care for residents in Somerset
Nether Stowey: Kulera Care recently went through an assessment by the CQC from November 5 to 7, 2024. At that time, they were providing live-in care for four people across a wide area. The cost for this service starts at £1100 a week.
The CQC’s report, released on January 16, 2025, praised the service for being well-managed. The provider, who is also the registered manager, was described as competent, open, and honest.
Staff members felt they were treated fairly and well-supported, which helped them deliver personalized care. The assessment process was noted as “excellent,” ensuring that clients were matched well with their caregivers.
People receiving care from Kulera Care had great things to say, calling the staff “fantastic” and saying they “couldn’t be better.” Family members also noticed how staff were attentive to changes in their loved ones and responded appropriately.
In all five key areas—safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led—Kulera Care received a ‘Good’ rating. The CQC has four overall ratings: Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement, and Inadequate.
